The Vicinity map

It was surely a tiring day moving from one place to another. Right! I am so excited about this new place of ours. Thank goodness I raised money in time... and of course, it won't be possible if not for the help of our two dear friends, Lanz, our former boarder who's now in Teletech Bacolod in her new Team Lead role, and of course Kim, my former associate who's now one of the highest paid senior agents in IBM Daksh. Arcy and I would like to extend our many thanks to both of you... well, that is, if you're reading this. Tee hee!

This is the mess we brought when we moved in

Anyway, I am finally moving out from Makati. I'll be totally free from my experiences with frequent flooding. Thank goodness! Now, I'll be moving to Mandaluyong city. Specifically in California Garden Square. What I can say is, it's not as fancy as it is supposed to be. But still, it was a cozy community. I'm glad we moved here.

A small portion of my room

Oh right! Arcy and I decided to get another tenant as a replacement for Lanz. This time, I invited one of my new colleagues, Orchid, to come and join us in our humble abode. Furthermore, Orchid came with her boyfriend, Nico. The initial set-up we had was to ask Orchid pay a month's advance worth of rent. We no longer charged her any deposit at all, so should she decide to move out, she would no longer claim anything from us. Apparently, we allowed her domestic partner to share her rent with the room she occupies. Furthermore, I will shoulder expenses for all utilities. This includes electricity, water, gas, association dues, and broadband connection. How convenient life would be for them. This set-up would hopefully help us cut some losses.

Now, since we'll have two new boarders under our custody, we decided to call the place "The AKON House". It's simply the acronym of our names combined together. Arcy, Kirk, Orchid, and Nico... I hope it does make sense as I don't want to try harder.

Moving here is quite some adjustment for me and Arcy. But then again, adjustment is positively amazing as I'll now be 10 minutes away from work which would only require me one ride, I'll also live close to my colleagues from work. Reg is just on the 12th floor (just right above us), and Jae is just from another building (Dayton Tower)...

Floor plan of the Unit

California Garden Square is a paragon in strategic community planning, it rises between the metropolitan centers of Makati and Ortigas Avenue. Taking you right away to where the pulse of business and commerce beats loudest. A stone's throw away from the MRT-III, it is a convenient take-off point to various destinations of the city.

Thoughtfully planned with two entry points to make moving in and out of your home a breeze. Whether you're looking for a place to shop, dine or unwind, or the perfect school for your child. The options are limitless.
